In 'Settings' you choose a contact/buddy whom we text via Sms if you don't sign in within the timeframe you choose. Only then can your contact/buddy access your log.
If your chosen timeframe is 1 day then you have to sign in before 18:00 (6:00 p.m.) on that day. If you choose a 2 day timeframe you sign in before 18:00 of the 2nd day. If you choose a week, 7 days. You sign in before 18:00 of the last day of your choosen timeframe. This allows time for a reminder to be sent and time for you to respond.
You are sent an Sms text reminder to your cell phone. You can choose 1, 2, or 3 hours before being sent a reminder. An hour after the reminder is sent and if you still have not signed in then we will send your contact buddy an Sms text message to the cell phone number you input in 'Settings: Contact'
You should agree a plan of action between yourselves. An obvious response would be to login to our site and access your notes. Then respond to the information in your log. Some contact buddies immediately call you to check if you are ok. If they cannot access you, they might try again after a few hours while accessing your log meanwhile. It is up to you and your contact buddy to decide your own individual plan of action should you remain uncontactable.
